About Us
We are a group of Evangelical and Protestant Individuals and Churches in the United Kingdom, who desire to bring the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Persian (Farsi) speaking people of Iran, Afghanistan and the surrounding regions.
As well as the Bible, we hold to the Reformation Confessions of Faith (Westminster Confession, Second London Baptist Confession, Savoy Declaration), and the newly published Affirmation 2010.
We do this by a weekly Short Wave radio broadcast, and the publication and distribution of Scriptures and other Evangelistic literature.
We are also involved in the translation and publication of the Scriptures and other useful thoroughly Evangelical books. We send all of our publications free of charge to those who cannot afford it.
Persian Translation Project
For the past 100 years the Persian speakers have been generally dependent on the 1895 edition of the Persian Bible. Even though various modern versions have been published, and shall be published, yet their textual basis has been on an ecclectic text which is very unreliable and their method of translation has been either paraphrase or dynamic equivalency. Both of these issues has meant that other than the Standard text of the 1895 edition (which was also influenced by the ecclectic text) there has been no reliable Bible in Persian. Therefore, we have been working with the Trinitarian Bible Society to bring out a new translation of the Persian Bible which will meet the needs of the Persian speakers. The Gospel of John has already been published which can be ordered for Free.
For the first time the Trinitarian Bible Society (London) has revised the 1895 edition of the Persian Gospel of John. You can download a PDF copy of it for free distribution. We already offer free copies of the printed Gospel to all who request it.
